Old friend

Lovely day today, an old friend who I have known since we were babies (rather a long time!) visited. We have always kept up with some sort of contact, some years just exchanging Christmas cards. We don’t live near to each other but she has a friend with a holiday home near by which she offers to her to stay in to give her a break. This was her first visit since lockdown but it felt like yesterday that we had seen each other! Much talking, coffee, walk, lunch, coffee and more talking!
