Not charred.

I took some of the trophies to the winner today. She lives over at Corstorphine with wonderful views south over the Pentland Hills. Over the past year or so she has had work done on her house resulting in panorama view from her kitchen and over her garden.

The garden was still producing veg and I came away with some runner beans and a few colourful varieties of chard.

It is not a vegetable we have used but it went very well with our fish pie tonight. It also made for a colourful pan before cooking.
