It Didn't Scare Me

I've never understood why they make scarecrows with big wide smiles. If their job is to keep varmints away from the crops, why not have a mean face, or a wide-open yelling mouth?

We're getting dangerously close in Michigan to having mums being the only blooms left. At least they are pretty.
