Hawk

It was a big magnificent bird.  It might be a Cooper's Hawk, except they are supposed to have red eyes. I don't know what else it could be. Any ideas?

Went for a nice long walk along the cliffs north of town at Wilder Ranch State Park. Seagulls, cormorants, pelicans, and those pointy black and white birds with startling red legs and feet; shiny wet sea lions hauled up on the rocks; the tumbling unrelenting music of crashing waves; just a hint of spray from the water far below the trail. It was a fine morning.
