Mount Whitney from Alabama Hills

Death Valley is closed due to floods (!) but we had a very nice morning exploring the Alabama Hills, site of many Hollywood western movies including Django Unchained. There are lots of huge granite boulders rounded and sculpted by wind and rain, including quite a few of these mobius arches. Mt Whitney, the highest mountain in 'mainland' USA, is just a few miles away.
