Madera Creek
This is the 1st of 8 back blips from 19 Sept through 24 Sept. (except for the 20th when I actually posted on time). Thanks for taking the time to take a look at some of them. x
The creek was running very full, the fullest I have ever seen it. It's difficult to get a photo of more than a smallish section because the views are often blocked by very large trees. There's a common area for people staying in the casitas which overlooks the creek. There are tables and chairs and even a spotlight for evening enjoyment. I squished myself as far to the left on the overlook to get this shot.
The owner told me that over 15 inches of monsoon rain had been captured by his rain gauge. Then it rained pretty hard for two nights.
If a man speaks in the woods and there’s not a woman there to hear him…
Is he still wrong?
