Little treat

It is madly busy at work this week. Always crazy at the start of term.

We ran our first Library Research Cafe where students can grab a cuppa and a biscuit whilst chatting to us for advice if they are a bit lost with their library research. It went really well and we had some lovely chats.  It is all a bit of an experiment but so far that bodes well.

Thanks to various services not working as they should I spent a lot of the day troubleshooting and apologising so didn’t get through all the work I had planned ready for a training session on Wednesday.  So it was a late night of working on it at home.   I finally finished about 9:30 so after that I enjoyed a few of these with a nice cuppa.

Hopefully just one more crazy week after this one and then things will become more manageable again.
