Back to Daunt books

Book launches at Daunt Books come up from time to time often via my friend Martin Gayford who here is launching his and David Dawson’s beautiful edition of Lucien Freud’s letters.  The book is published by Thames and Hudson and reproduces many of the letters, and notes in facsimile.  It also weighed a ton so I didn’t buy it and carry it home but will order it locally. 

Busy day in the office - our new PA has resigned after a month citing stress and overwork, which was boggling given we seemed to be doing half her job for her.  Our previous PA stayed with us for 5 years and we helped her move into a new area of the business with great success so we aren’t tyrants. She was a tough act to follow.
