Wide Wednesday — Late winter scene

I guess you would call it spring here now. I always mean to go to the park and photograph 2 huge cherry trees but every year we get rain and storms and I miss their best by a day or two. Today they are looking worse for wear even though they were pretty good yesterday when we drove past. Instead I have moved further back and have added another smaller cherry of a different variety. I even got an additional rainbow and didn’t get wet in the process. 

Our overnight visitors have left as they had a long journey to get home. Tomorrow we are having the grandchildren and on the weekend the other family and their pets. Today I did some more work outside as the weather was mild (with occasional showers).
