Gym With a View

I wouldn't want to use this "Balance Steps" structure at Zuanich Point Park in our usual gray and wet weather, but on a glorious day like today, it's appealing!

Just up the paved path, also in this eye-catching blue paint, are a "Cardio Stepper" and a "Chest/Back Press" device -- and then a couple of water-view picnic tables, in case your exertions make you hungry.

Overlooking Squalicum Harbor, Zuanich Point Park is a popular place for community events, boating celebrations, picnics, kite flying, dog walking/roller-blading/jogging, and more. It's home to Squalicum Boathouse, available for rent to community residents for meetings, classes, weddings, memorial services, and parties, as well as the poignant "Safe Return" memorial to local fishers lost at sea.
