New Mushroom

Looks a bit like one of those radio telescopes listening to sounds from the cosmos.  It was all by itself in the yard.  It is pointing north so maybe trying to pick up signals of approaching winter.  I hope there is no sounds of that yet.  On a more somber note, my brother's bone marrow biopsy results show he has myelodysplastic syndrome, sometimes called pre-leukemia or smoldering leukemia. It is a form of cancer. He will begin chemo treatments tomorrow and, if he tolerates it, will be in the hospital for 2-3 weeks. Again, it is a day-to-day process, but your prayers and healing thoughts sent his way are very much appreciated. Be strong, big brother, we're all pulling for you!
