Unusual

This was taken on a day of mixed weather as you can see by the clouds.  The sun was out again, but with a brisk wind, rain wasn't far away. This is a rowan tree still growing, but is no longer vertical.  This part of Caldbeck is subject to prevailing winds and blew this tree over.  There are pools of water in the hollows on the trunk.  Three days of mainly sun isn't too bad, but change is on the way.
