Above Villefrance

By popular request the walk was changed today. The one I had planned has a scree slope at one point which a few people were dubious about. We, therefore, chose to do an old favourite, a circuit above the garrison town of Villefranche which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We returned via the village of Fillols where we had a picnic before returning to Corneilla. I had an oil delivery in the afternoon, a 50% increase on last year's fill up. Ouch! We will have to use the heating sparingly this winter and wear lots of clothes!
