No. 1 showing 3 of 13 (or 58)

Today we visited Callanish 1 (there are 8 stone circles with the name Callanish - Callanish 1 to Callanish 8). The detail in the rock is beautiful as well as whole construction being very impressive. My blip is of 3 of the 13 stones in the inner circle (thought to represent lunar months); there are 58 in total. A wider view in extras and here.

We also visited Gearrannan Blackhouse Village (in extras), Dun Carloway Broch and the Butt of Lewis Lighthouse.
