Normandy Day 20

There are sand dunes and a very long beach a minutes walk from the B&B. We did this walk after breakfast. It was beautiful. We took a drive up the coast as far as Dielette and stopped for a lovely, very cheap 2 course lunch in a little village. It has rained but we remained dry. The ferry service contacted us last week as our return journey from Cherbourg has been cancelled so we need to return from St Malo a day later. They asked if that was ok and gave us a full fare refund!! Today however we had another message to say Saturdays boat May be cancelled due to weather so Sunday it may be which is my birthday so I hope we get home for that! There is a communal kitchen at the B&B so we made a picnic tea and had it in our room!
