Cold enough for Penguins

A cloudy day

I attended a major all day Workshop with Tayside Spiritual Care Department. It was held in the Steeple Church in the City Centre. There were around 60 participants representing every section of the Service, including the Listening Service.

The aim of the Workshop was to consider how to improve and extend the Service. Tayside is considered to be the leading area in Scotland in this kind of provision for both patients and staff. It will take time to bring together all the insights which were shared, but I look forward to seeing further initiatives which will enhance the service we provide.

Outside the church were these well known penguins, a tribute to the RSS Discovery’s voyages to the Antarctic.
