The dark autumn evenings have definitely appeared from nowhere if feels this week. Rainy clouds don’t help the glum.

We got some new bedroom lamps after Kara broke our old glass ones (bought pre-child so practicality wasn’t an issue at the time) probably a year ago.

Super energy efficient IKEA bulbs to minimise the hit with the energy price hikes. Although, we all know it’s the heating being on that’s going to be the real driver in our bills jumping up. I had an email from our energy company Bulb saying they were increasing my direct debit by £20 despite have nearly £400 in credit. Hopefully their maths is wrong and I can drop it soon or we are in for a long winter.
