Upstairs Downstairs

Some years back we had the upstairs windows replaced in the cottage - partly for reasons of condition, but substantially for reasons of fire safety requirements (so you could actually get out of them should you need to).

Also proved useful for getting wardrobes upstairs!


The downstairs windows has been patched multiple times since - to the point of being mostly filler and fluff held together by varnish.  It was time to replace those too, before they came apart in a guest's hand.
