Spoilt for choice/hard to believe?

The three Musketeers were due a trip out today; under Plan B we went South(ish), rather than North(ish) and fetched up at "Melki".

Spoilt for choice in that, as usual, many floral Macros ensued PLUS more than the usual % which were both, in focus, and contained an insect or three.  One, not shown, had 3-4 out of focus Flies on it.

Hard to believe part.
1. We hear insects are in decline.
2. Evidence shows in the lack of corpses on Windscreens and Number Plates.
and - YET - even many of my discarded shots carried insects.  One had a Bee and the next leaf to it had an Aphid on it.

Extra - part to use up, part I couldn't resist it.  I was a neighbouring shot, not QUITE as crisp, had attendant Aphid.
