2022 Monday — Cap Stones

Mr. Fun had the thrill of riding to San Luis Obispo with Mercado again today. It’s time to purchase cap stones for some of the places on the retaining walls, and Mr. Fun wanted to shop for the parts needed for the outdoor fire pit (it’s not really a fire pit, but it’s not a fireplace either). When it is built, photos will be shown.

The thrill of riding with Mercado today, according to Mr. Fun, was not being able to find the seatbelt for the passenger and not being able to completely latch the passenger door. Crazy!

The thrill of being at the building supply place was that they had the elements needed for the fire pit, but the computer had no record that the parts were in stock. So the computer thought there was nothing to sell to the customer. Ugh! After the clerk made a phone call to the computer company (and much time was wasted) the problem seemed to sort of get solved. Mercado says the building supply company has new owners and they wanted the new computer system. He says everything is not the way it used to be there, and many people, employees and customers, are not happy.
