Wednesday: The Office View

This is the view from my office window which, I have to say, isn’t bad!  

Don’t be fooled by the skies though - later in the afternoon we had an intense tropical storm which caused a whole load of flooding in the house.  Apparently the drain backed up through the air conditioning and all the water came cascading down the wall.  I say ‘apparently’ as K was dealing with at home with the maintenance team while I was at work.  There’s now some drying out to do.

My colleague and her husband came over for a drink (or several) tonight which was very pleasant.  

I’m behind in catching up on journals but hope to rectify that soon.
