65 years
The 65th birthday has always been a milestone in life. That was the age/date that you said goodbye to your working hours and could start enjoying your accrued pension.
This has not been the case for years. You are expected to continue working until the age of 67 and then you will receive your long-awaited retirement pension from the government. You can take your pension from your working hours on a variable basis. The new age therefore no longer has the effect of the age of 65.
My dear wife turned 65 today.
