2022 Saturday — Birthday Celebrating

Today is Sandy's 82nd birthday. She lives in Las Vegas near her two daughters. I checked with another friend to make sure I had Sandy's cell number correct, and I did, so I sent her a text to wish her a happy birthday. She almost immediately responded and then she phoned me. It's been a number of years since we've talked and I enjoyed catching-up with her.

Sandy's husband Tim died almost 5 years ago. He was the senior pastor for 22 years of the church we attended. Then they moved to Tucson, AZ, in 1992 to lead a church there and then eventually retired to Las Vegas to live near their two daughters.

Today her youngest daughter Tobi, in this picture with her, took her out for a fun lunch together.
