Friday afternoon

Didn't make it to church this morning because I, er, overslept!!! BAD!

Decided to have a drive out of town - heading towards the East Coast. It's all very pretty there with mountains and nice beaches. We took this newly made route through the mountains. It brings you out right to this beauty spot in Kalba. A little fishing village south of Fujairah; they had some water sports in this area alongside this grassed picnic area where we stopped to eat our sandwiches.

A local family came by to enjoy the outdoors. Had to be quick and a bit surreptitious with this shot.

Can't believe the first day of the weekend is already over. Hope you're off to a good start with yours...
