The best of friends

I don’t think these calves are twins but they are always together and with their very similar colouring they do look like siblings.

Walking through the veggie garden in Pollok this morning the team of gardeners were very busy clearing the beds. I asked them what happened to all the fresh produce. As I suspected it was given to charities but there had been some folk pinching the pumpkins so all the veggies were now laid out in the greenhouse where they will be kept under lock and key until all the harvesting is finished and the ground will be left fallow until the spring.
