Up High.
Roofers finished today, we're now not in the least worried about the forecast bad weather tomorrow!
We went up the scaffolding this evening, it felt so high, I don't know how the roofers scramble about with such ease. Good to get the high view though, pity the sun was in the wrong position though. New grass looks green.
Grit and dust everywhere after this week of turn laying, brickwork and roofers replacing all the fascias, soffits and guttering. They also repointed parts oof the chimney.
A while back I mentioned the dysfunctional life my nephew was living. He's got an amazing support worker who, along with social services have managed to get him into 'Adult foster care' for a 2 week period. I never knew such a service even existed. There are some wonderful people in this world. The social worker thinks he is somewhere on the spectrum of autism. Hoping he can be diagnosed and gets the help he needs.
