Stairway to bed

Our “treehouse”, although not really a treehouse, is quirky, comfy, and set in a beautiful garden of costal plants and massive tree ferns.

We elected to not hire a car for this trip, electing rather for airport transfers and pre-booked taxis, but didn’t anticipate a pretty wild coastal front that is hitting Morgans Bay today and tomorrow.

We managed to get our own way down to the Morgan Bay hotel unscathed but sought refuge in a drive home from the restaurant manager who kindly offered his bakkie as an alternative to being soggy lumps which we would have been by eventually making it up the steep hill on foot.

Looking forward to a long snooze, and hopefully not too many visits to the bathroom down these stairs.
