Excited

It’s hard to express just how much Mrs S and I are looking forward to Oktoberfest. Eleven days and we are beginning to feel like kids on Christmas Eve.
It seems an age since our holiday to Malta was cancelled, since then we have opted not to fly out, the airline timetables appear to be chaotic and that worry about delays or cancellations means we won’t bother looking to go abroad.
Instead Oktoberfest, with Mrs S’s brother and friends, fresh air, campfire cooking, peace & quiet, no TV, just good company, good music and a few beers.

RNA Branch Meeting in the evening, blazers, ties a medals worn to remember “The Boss” EIIR, with two minutes silence then a tot of rum, after a pause it was another tot of rum to go with the toast “The King”.
