Adventures in Iceland

After some deliberation about the rainy weather, we headed off to see the Barnafosser and Hraunfossar (https://guidetoiceland.is/travel-iceland/drive/hraunfossar) waterfalls (https://guidetoiceland.is/travel-iceland/drive/barnafoss) this morning, squeezing it in before a date with the Big Cave
https://thecave.is/. The main is Hraunfossar and the last extra is Barnafosser. The extras are of the cave entrance, just inside the cave and further inside.

The other extras are of the Cave which is actually a lava tube that runs for many meters. The fascinating fact we learned is that the water that drips down through the basalt rocks of the tube end up flowing into these waterfalls. Barnafosser is above Hraunfosser so the two can be seen in one spot.

We’re staying in an incredible Airbnb in southwest Iceland today for two nights - our last place on this incredible adventure.
