Nerines

Another busy day, finished all the ironing, bread rolls made, potted up the strawberry runners, put more stuff away in our very organised cupboards, went for a walk and made some more tomato soup. This is a beautiful nerine we passed on our walk, it flowers every year. I had some last year but mine haven’t flowered this year, in fact I forgot all about them until I saw these.
We have just had a chat with our eldest son. His brother, our youngest son and our youngest grandson are both coming over from Canada on a flying visit next week. They are staying part of the week in Lymington with our son and then staying with us. We are off to Cornwall for a week before their visit so we have been preparing for them coming as well. It’s all go. We only heard they were coming last week when we were in Greece.
