Still Swimming

Decided fairly spontaneously to just head to the beach this morning, the sun was shining and knew it would be a very different story tomorrow. Also did a last minute grab of swimming stuff. Got to Calgary, a few cars and campervans already there but the beach pretty deserted. Quick change in the rocks and then got in. Bracing. M took this photo on my phone, I’m the tiny spec in the sea, my favourite type of photo of me. Felt much better for it. So much dreadful stuff happening around the world and as for the catastrophic repercussions of the actions of the criminal idiots in top slots at Westminster ….. you need some moments of numbness / escape.
