Loch Katrine
We went up to Loch Katrine with the intent of getting the Ferry up to Stronachlachar and walking back to the Visitor Centre, some 13 miles away but for one thing or another we missed the ferry so we walked up the road till we got to the point where we turned back last year when we started at Stronachlachar.
The weather was fine, not too hot, not too windy with most of the walk done jacketless, but after a walk of some 27km (40 000 steps, 13.5km there and the same back) my wee legs were a bit weary. Beer and food were essential when I got home.
The ferry shuts for the winter at the end of October but we intend to finally do the walk from Stronachlachar back to the Viisitor Centre before the ferry shuts down.
