Red deer stag in Richmond park

Yesterday l spent a fab day in Richmond Park in SW London. I had to get up at 5am and had left the house by 6 to be in the park when it opened at 7:15. I had enrolled on a wildlife photography course for the day and spent it following Red and Roe deer (my feet are killing me - 20,000 steps and by the time l got home l was totally knackered).
Tis the rutting season and the park was very noisy, mainly from the red deer stags, the Roe deer are much sedate.
Richmond is a stunning open area, enormous and l will go back there although perhaps not at that hour.
