Up and across Princes Street
After an early morning peloton, Mr A and I got a bus up to Princes Street. Leith Walk was doing a singular impression of a car park and it would have been much quicker to walk. Hey ho.
He went off to the station to collect some tickets and I popped into a bank to pay in a cheque for W. Then on to the RSE for a meeting, and finally up the hill to work arriving by lunchtime. Another afternoon of meetings, followed by dinner with NNS. It was good to catch up in a slightly less fraught context.
I was tired when I had to bowl back along the road to come home. It had been a long, and energetic, day.
Princes Street was in colourful mood as I crossed in the early evening.
