Rain-washed…..

The rain was pouring down when Maisie and I ventured out on this dark, cold supposedly spring morning. Gumboots, Storm coat and umbrella required. Deep puddles along the river paths. Maisie loved it. The blossoms draping over a nearby neighbour’s fence were well and truly rain-drenched. I’ve lit the fire in the wood burner tonight. Stay warm folks… wintery-type weather is predicted over the next few days. Not a good start for the school holidays.
