Nuts!

It’s conker season! I rescued these from a busy junction before they were squished like their nut siblings. It’s messy round there.
Wandered up to the Eye Pavilion today (they fix eyes as opposed to selling them) for my annual checkup. They’re both still there, whew. Waited an hour then in and out in 5 minutes - much preferable to the other way round. On the way back I noticed the roadworks causing yesterday’s traffic chaos had been cleared already so it was just bad timing, as usual.
