Early Christmas …

Well, sort of.  A delicious surprise turned up outside our door this morning - a gift from fellow blipper Mima.  We’d sent Mima a couple of branches off the Fire-star Orchid to plant in her garden.  We certainly weren’t expecting anything in return, but this morning a package turned up and it contained slices of the most delicious rich fruit cake, the best I’ve ever tasted. What a delightful surprise.  Thank you so much, Mima!!

It’s been a wet day, but reasonably warm.  Tomorrow is going to be a lot worse, really dreich, so much so that Mr MacD’s sailing has already been cancelled.

We had a bit of an emergency with Mum tonight, but she’s OK now, and then we came home and watched an episode of The Capture.  I’m really struggling to work out just what’s going on at times.  No doubt all will be revealed.

We had a slice each of the rich fruit cake with some cheese and an apple for lunch - see the blip.
