Blue boatshed

On the banks of the Swan River in Perth, less than 500 metres from where we are staying, is this unassuming blue boatshed. Which has, for reasons unfathomable to me, been adopted by young international travellers as a symbol of Perth. And an essential photograph to post online as a record of their visit. But I shouldn't be critical - it's not very different from what I'm doing with my post to Blipfoto. Here is a link to an ABC News story on the phenomenon.
