Summer’s hanging on.

I noticed this beautiful flowerbed only a few days ago when we came back from holiday.
They are at the end of our lane, and didn’t see them before we went away.
It used to be an area of grass and the seeds must have been planted late.
A wonderful mix of flowers. Even more appreciated this late in the year.
Just managed to get a photograph before the rain and wind started, and perfect for Flower Friday.
There was a wonderful red sunrise, so the old saying “ Red sky in the morning, shepherds warning.” came true.
