New arrivals at my garden soup kitchen ; have never seen redpolls here before! What these little finches lack in size is more than made up for by their fiesty character!
Judging by the sheer number and species of birds coming to my garden handouts, I think the non-arrival of Spring is a rather more serious matter for them than our grumpy disappointment!
