Scrabble and Bryan Ferry

Day's end and a game of Scrabble with Isobel listening to Bryan Ferry on the cd player. Years since I'd listened to As Time Goes By, Ferry's tribute to great Cole Porter, Rogers & Hart and Kahn & Donaldson songs. A good end to a day which started with the sun, more lovely signs of summer at last. It seems like a great weight is being lifted off many as longer warmer days bless us, as time goes by.
