Day off

I had a day off work today in lieu of the Bank Holiday for the late Queen’s funeral. That’s why I’m in Edinburgh today and not Dumfries.

I did a shift with Luke and Laura this morning at Empty Kitchens. During the morning we visited the FareShare food distribution centre where most of the food for the kitchen comes from. Here are some of the lovely staff eating their lunch.

In the afternoon I went to the Barbara Hepworth exhibition at the Modern Art Gallery. I spent over two hours marvelling at it all.

I’m now on my way home, but the Tardis has broken down just outside Edinburgh so we are waiting for a replacement..
