Primary School Art Exhibition

It’s been raining and very windy here for most of the day. My motto is usually, When it’s Windy and Wet we Walk in the Woods, but today I couldn’t be bothered driving anywhere. So we got very wet walking on the Coastal Path.

The afternoon was fun as I walked along to the Primary School Art Exhibition. So impressive. Lovely work from all years and displayed beautifully. Some of the pupils had visited one of the art galleries in town to see how artwork was displayed and hung. Two pupils stood beside the exhibits of each primary, explaining to visitors how the artwork was created and the themes of each. Each piece could be bought and would be marked with a label to say it was sold, but would remain until the end of the event. It was organised and set up just like an adult commercial exhibition.
It’s a great wee primary school.
