Wild

Decided to head out for our walk earlier than planned as the forecast was for light rain in the morning and heavy from 2pm.
Did the cheddar gorge walk which is only just 6.4K, but is hard going and we added another 3k walking from the site to the start. I took a walking stick and thank goodness I did as my knee was a real problem coming down hill. Stayed dry until about the last 30 minutes and then we got really wet. Spotted tomorrows walk from the top.
The highlight of the walk was the feral goats, they seemed ok with us walking right past them and then when we were further down the hill about eight of then started running towards us, round in front and into the woods, Hetty was a little upset by this and tried to follow them.
Spent the afternoon reading. Veggie sausage and pasta for dinner and a glass of red.
It’s still raining.
