Soon the waves and I found the rolling tide.
3rd day of Musical May: Beirut - The Rip Tide.
Spent the whole day at the library reading stuff about the Nazi Menace in Argentina -how cool right ?- while listening to the Cat Empire and some random Electro Swing playlists. Note to myself: do not forget to see The Cat Empire in live again.
So anyway. Here is an impressionist picture. I mean to be honest I ALSO spent the whole day thinking about a nice melancholic spot which would -if possible- include water. And after a couple of tries (including the grass of the campus, macrophotography of my books, my Mocha Frappe, Thor drinking his Mocha Frappe trying to look melancholic, and the whole floor 3), I thought that I could just wait until the light goes down and take a picture of the reflexion of the steet lamp in the pond. Which was not a bad idea in the end. Maybe not sharp enough, but I like the little 'light wires' on the water.
And I would just add that I love this song ... I remember once I was listening to it and I ended up writing a text about how it made me think about those summer nights when it's a bit cold but you spend hours outside wearing old jerseys and trying to drown into the night sky... So yeah, quite inspiring.
