The Town House Peterhead

In Peterhead today with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law on a shopping trip for a new outfit for Nunnie, to wear at my daughter/her granddaughter's wedding at the end of June. Only one shop was visited and we emerged an hour or so later with the complete outfit including a fabulous fascinator which she had fallen in love with and set off her outfit to a tee. Result!

One of the finest pieces of architecture in Peterhead is the Town House which dates to 1788. Directly in front of the Townhouse is a majestic statue of Field Marshal Keith which was gifted to Peterhead in 1868 by King William of Prussia. It sits at the top of Broad Street, and is close by our lunch destination, to which we retired happily after our short period of retail therapy.

It's been a tiring week, but a long weekend looms, with the promise of some special time with special friends. Enjoy yours fellow blippers!
