Algal Bloom, Schwann Lake

A combination of low water levels, warm temperatures, and an unseasonal rain earlier this month has adorned our county with an unusually high amount of photogenic algal bloom in lakes, creeks and lagoons. There is some concern over possible toxic contamination from cyanobacteria, often fatal to pets and animals, and not too good for people either. Best stay out of funny-colored water...  Sure is pretty though.
