Today was a day of low productivity. I think it's the casual-Friday thing! I skipped Body Combat in favour of having breakfast with Mum and Dad before they left, and pottered into work later. It's N's birthday tomorrow and so at lunchtime, V, A, S and I took her for lunch at Vodka Bar (not for vodka: for burgers). Scrummy! Despite the sun, it was freezing, but we sat in the solarium and soaked up the heat through the glass.
When we got back to the office, M had bought a cake (she hadn't been able to come out for lunch), which we promptly demolished with coffee. The light was so nice, I made N stand outside with her slice and took some pictures of her in the car park of the office. Only on our way back in did we realise that someone had been sitting in the car next to our photoshoot spot; hopefully it wasn't one of the directors!
As I got home from work, the breeze had dropped and M suggested a BBQ in his Mum and Dad's garden (they're halfway through their month-long holiday in France, lucky things), which was lovely. A glass of beer, a couple of pØlse (Norwegian-style sausage) and M's homemade potato salad. Yum yum!
