Chatty

We had a long phone call today. She hadnt much prep so asked if she could call during prep time. We did her maths over the phone and then played words games together as we chatted. Whoever here suggested me having roblox so I could play with her, thank you. Playing games that way hadn't really occurred to me, but she likes it a lot. So now we have roblox which we play while we are on the phone together and a word game we can play together or separately.

She was chatting about Friday night is Symphony Night coming up tomorrow. She read me her monologue she's preparing for the Annie audition. She's got it characterised fabulously, she's anxious the American accent will lose her the part,or any part. But she's also confident in her performance of the song. I'd encouraged her to choose "little girls" instead of "tomorrow" (the two options), because of the high notes in Tomorrow and her being a fairly definite alto. But she said "no mama, I can get that note really well and hold it. I get it better than the choristers who are auditioning. I can do it, I know I can". I loved her confidence and quiet firm belief in herself.
