Harry and Penelope Seidler House

Today I joined a small group tour of the Harry and Penelope Seidler House in Killara, hosted by Penelope Seidler.
She and Harry Seidler designed the house, which was built in 1967 and in which she still lives.
No photos inside, unfortunately, but suffice to say that almost all of the furniture and decorations are unchanged.
The first extra shows a section under the house and the second, the pool area. It would be a nightmare keeping the pool clean, as the house is ringed by beautiful natural bush.
The main structure is of reinforced concrete, with much basalt rock and Tasmanian Oak. Built to last:))
For those not in Australia, Harry Seidler (1923 - 2006) was an iconic and often controversial Modernist architect.

Lots to say about it, but if you're interested, go here.
